Servled Africa is a business development community that enables startups and SMEs to achieve their dreams of building sustainable businesses. Over the past three years, our programs have reached over 1,000 beneficiaries and we have trained over 150 SMEs. We have also invested in some of the brightest young and exciting businesses including Wear Ghana, Horseman Shoes and RPC.
Intern program description
ServLed has just commenced an intern training program which prepares interns for the job market. This program is developed for university students in their second, third and final years. The twelve (12) week program allows students to work one or two days a week alongside the ServLed team and some of our investee companies. At the end of the period, all successful candidates will receive a certificate of participation, opportunity to take another session in the future and/or recommendations for other internships, graduate school or job applications.
Interns will be expected to attend a number of compulsory orientation sessions (which are scheduled to accommodate varying student timetables). In addition, interns will be required to complete a number of online modules to prepare them to succeed both at ServLed and in their future roles at other companies. Interns will be required to attend work and complete all assigned tasks and projects diligently.
There are currently 5 roles available for this program.
We are looking for candidates with very strong academic backgrounds, very resourceful and with can-do attitudes.
Profile and majors preferred:
- Students in business administration
- Accounting majors
- Computer science and engineering majors
- Students with graphic designing backgrounds preferred
Deadline for application is the 3rd March.
Program starts on the week of the 7th March. Acceptance will be on a rolling basis.
